What to Expect

Blue Sky Cross Website SidebarWHAT SUNDAY SERVICE IS LIKE

You can expect a warm and friendly greeting — a welcoming handshake or a hug.  There will be a friendly face to answer any questions you have and to help you with finding a place to sit.  Our team will also help you find the nursery, K.I.D.S. church, or bathrooms if you are new.

Our music is a combination of modern and traditional often accompanied by guitar, piano, organ, drums or bongos, and singers.  You may notice some people raising their hands as an expression of worship toward God.

Pastor Trevor Hagan and Pastor Matt Moore deliver relevant Bible based teaching that challenges your mind and heart with God’s truth.  The Bible is all about Jesus and the freedom and life transformation He offers us through salvation from our sins.  The messages are about Jesus and challenge you to be more like Him.

We encourage you want everyone to feel comfortable in at church. Some people wear jeans and a t-shirt while others may wear sports coats and dresses – It’s up to you!

Lake Windermere Alliance Church is located behind the Sobey’s grocery store, adjacent to one of the busiest intersections in the town of Invermere, BC.

Ministry to the whole family is a vital part of our mission at Lake Windermere Alliance Church. We offer nursery for infants and toddlers, Sunday school for age 3 to Grade 1 and K.I.D.S. church from grade 2 to grade 7.   After worship, the congregation breaks for coffee and fellowship.  At this time, parents can take their children to the age appropriate room and sign them in.  Please note that is mandatory that children be signed in and signed out by the same parent.
Our programs offer a mix of play and teaching appropriate for their age.  Children are taught about God and the Bible in a way that’s relevant to them while service resumes upstairs.
